Flouride supplements?

DS is 17 months old. He still takes the same vitamin he's been taking since the beginning. He does not take any kind of flouride supplement.

I was visiting an out-of-state friend this weekend and she said her daughter has to take flouride because there's no flouride in the water in her area.

NY water has flouride in it, but my DS drinks bottled water, not tap. Does that mean that he should be on flouride supplements?

my DD is 3 years old and she is not a big water drinker. i asked her Ped. when we went for her 3yr well visit and the ped said to not worry because if i use tap water for cooking, she will get it through the food that i cook.
