Which one would you recommend and will last? Mine broke this morning-this is the second time this has happen to me!
I had the Infrashine ceramic iron both times.

Re: Flat Iron

I have the Remington wet/dry flat iron - which I had know problems with, however after hearing so many raves over the chi - I went and got one for x-mas.

Honestly, they both work the same for me, I don't notice much difference between the two except that my chi is 1 inch and I am able to put a curl in my hair as well.

I have the same Remington. And bought a Chi after hearing all the raves too but I returned it immediately because I didn' think it was anything special (and it didn't lock closed which I wanted).

ETA: I think I've had my cheapy one for about three years and it's still going strng (I think I paid $24.99 for it).

Re: Flat Iron

I have a Sedu and love it.

I have also had the Chi and it worked well. (DH accidentally stepped on it and cracked it in half)

If I had to buy another I would buy another Sedu.

Re: Flat Iron

I have a T3 wet/dry iron from Sephora that I absolutely love. I don't look like a curly person trying to have straight hair when I use it.

I also have a Chi and, while I liked it at first, it doesn't compare to the T3. I get that burnt hair smell when I use the Chi and my hair looks really dry too.
