Re: First Year
Other than daycare:
Wipes Diaper rash cream (I use with every use preventatively, therefore I go through a lot) Bags for diaper pail Baby detergent
Once they are eating, baby food, snacks
These all seem like minor items but they add up to probably about $75-100/month
Plus periodic replacements or sizing up of nipples, pacifiers, clothing

Re: First Year
we buy all our formula and diapers at BJ's. much cheaper. from first born to 6 months we were buying about $125 per month worth of diapers and formula. Now that DS is eating solids, we are spending about $150. Then there are those months where we had to buy him bigger onesies, jackets, pajamas etc and I would say another $100 every 2 months for clothes.

I don't buy diapers or wipes every month. I stock up when Target does their gift card sales and then in between, do subscribe and save on Amazon Family for Luvs which run about $28 per box (About 175-200 diapers per box depending on the size). I never pay more than 17cents a diaper but usually around 13-15 cents depending on the size (bigger costs more bc there are less diapers in a box). Wipes I get about every other month - box of 648 wipes for $12.
Formula w/ my first was easy because I never had to switch. I used Up & Up (Target)'s version of Enfamil Premium Infant (Yellow container) - this ran about $24 per 40(?)oz container which would last about a month or so (I also pumped for her so she wasn't only on formula). They sometimes do gift card deals too (Buy 3, get $10 gc).
With my second, she's on Similac Total Comfort which doesn't have a generic version. It runs $28 per 20(?)oz container so it's more money for half the size. I use Similac checks when /i have them which helps a bit. I feel like I won the lottery last night because I found someone selling sealed containers of it for a fraction of the price on a buy/sell group!
ETA: Diaper cream, diaper genie refills I buy on Amazon w/ subscribe & save. They last about 3 months or so.

Very similar to this. I've gotten occasional great deals at target but regularly use amazon subscribe and save. Diapers 24-28 per month although i don't even buy every month. I always used to buy luvs but lately Huggies have actually been cheaper. Wipes 12 for a huge case and buy no more than every other month.
Other than that, occasional clothes and other little necessities. Also medical expenses. Both my girls I spent more than expected on copays for various doctor visits.

Wipes - we make our own. but it's kind of expensive because we use bounty paper towels. i would say $3 / wk we have the arm & hammer diaper pail so we use regular garbage bags. Gerber- $6-10 per week + regular foods (apple sauce, yogurt, bananas) probably the same, another $6-10 We just use detergent that is sensitive for everyone. Enfamil with coupons & sales @ 2 per week - $40 per wk Diapers- stock up at no more than $5-10 per week / less for the smaller sizes since you get more in them. Clothes- $40/mo? we try to buy ahead on clearance and had a lot of hand me downs. COPAYS! we have to pay for well visits too so at least $40-60/mo
basically i increased our expenses budget by $250 per 2 weeks. it seems to work. i dont follow too closely item by item or us vs baby.
