First World Problems

I’m bored and procrastinating.

So what’s your FWP?

Mine is the wasabi I had with my sushi wasn’t hot/spicy enough for lunch.

I have to go to the dentist today and I HATE driving to Nassau, I just want to stay home and decorate for fall instead.

Re: First World Problems

My downstairs neighbors have no idea how to keep the storm door from slamming shut.
It is driving me bonkers and rocking my walls.

I'm ready to rip the thing off, frame and all - I paid for it so I can do whatever I want with it.

Re: First World Problems

Here’s another one.. they closed my office because the elevator crashed in our building. I found out after I got to port authority, so now I have to turn back around and my Starbucks is taking forever.

Re: First World Problems

SO built me a She Shed in the back yard. it's so cool! still needs work (furniture), but it's awesome. i want to spend time out there hanging out, looking at my crafting supplies, playing with my crafting... now, the young man is jealous because i don't want to be glued to his side watching football.

i was never a fan... and his team has already lost two games in a row.

he has started referring to me as "the neighbor lady."

Same problem over here. Super frustrating.

My toddler hid the remote for the TV cable box and I can't find it anywhere so I keep having to travel with the remote from my bedroom to the den and back so I can work all TVs.

I got a new computer at work, but the extra video cards that I had in my old computer aren't compatible with the new computer. That means I'm stuck with *only* 4 monitors, instead of the 5 that I'm used to... Chat Icon

Are you working out with weights? If so you might be building muscle which would explain the clothes fitting better but the scale saying the same number

This is why I never ever weigh myself. I can't even tell you the last time i set foot on a scale. Because the way your clothes fit, and the way you feel is 1000 times better indication of how well your weight loss/healthier living is going.
There are bodybuilders who have like 5% body fat and are in amazing shape who come in as "obese" on those damn old school charts.
There are people who probably weigh more than me who look smaller and wear a smaller size and people who weigh less than me that wear a bigger size.

Weight on the scale is nothing more than a number.

Re: First World Problems

I can't stand the "hands free" sinks in the bathroom at work.
For some reason I have a hard time getting them to activate.
Maybe it's just me- I always stand there with soap on my hands and no water comes out. I move my hands around - nada.
It takes like a very special angle or something.

So annoying.

I'll turn the friggin tap on the old school way, no need for hands free.

First World Problems

I bought coffee on my way to work, then showed up to a meeting where they had free coffee.

First World Problems

I can't stand when the fitted sheet on my bed comes out from under the mattress and it is under my pillow. I wake up in the middle of the night just to fix it cause it drives me insane. Now I'm tired and I added too much milk to my 7-11 coffee so I hate the way it tastes.

Oh, and the soap in the bathroom at work reminds me of a hospital and I can't get the smell off my hands.

Re: First World Problems

And speaking of coffee I need another cup and the coffee in my office sucks so badly it's undrinkable.
It's a Keurig, and I have a Keruig at home so I don't get it.
I thought maybe it was the pods, so I brought my own once- nope, still sucked.
Must be the water.

And they don't provide real milk or half and half so they only have those little coffee mate creamer cups- the ones that don't need refrigeration so what really is in them? What chemistry set to keep them fresh on the counter?
Ugh I want to gag just thinking about it.
I miss the days of working in an office that had good coffee

LOL true. I was out at a work even in the city.
I think I had 3 glasses of wine over the course of the night, but I can't handle more than 2 to be honest.
So yeah. not feeling great, but it was fun.

Right? I'm always waving my hands around by the sensor with a palm full of soap and no water is coming on and the woman next to me will walk over, flip a finger through and viola! and look at me like I'm an incompetent water turner on-er.
