First Ultrasound Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day since last Wednesday that I was told to come back in for bloodwork and our FIRST ULTRASOUND. My doctor did say there is a chance it still may be too early to see anything. What do you all think? I guess I am technically about 5 weeks pregnant (last period was 1/2/08).

He said we may see one (or two) "black dots". Do you ladies think I should get my hopes up? Can we really see already if it's multiples or not?

PS. Besides being a BIT tired, I really don't "feel pregnant". I guess it's good I am not feeling sick or anything. Or is it just too early? I find myself often getting nervous that I am not feeling symptoms and cannot wait to see something on screen visually so I can really BELIEVE that I am pregnant.

Lots of luck......it's awesome to have the sono's done. FYI - I had my first sono at 5w5d and all we saw was a little black dot which was the gestational sac. We went back at 6w5d and we saw the baby (which looked like white fuzz) and we also saw the yolk sac and the heartbeat. Don't get upset if you don't see much right now, it's very early. It's amazing though how much changes from day to day......within one week the baby practically doubled in size and we saw its heart beating. So awesome!!

For us, all we saw was a black dot and the and the sac.

at 6 weeks I saw the heartbeat and what could possibly be another sac. At 7 weeks, that iw hen we found out we were having twins
