First RE aptmt
Just had my first RE aptmt today at RMA NY. It was great, I really like my doctor. They moved swiftly but explained everything very well.
So, my RE said I may or may not have PCOS. The only thing he saw which may mean PCOS were large ovaries. He said I have alot of eggs and that I have a higher risk for multiples if too stimulated. So, I'm going to start on Provera tomorrow (if all blood work checks out), than will go in for CD3 testing once period comes. If all is good, I will start on the lowest dose of clomid for 5 days with a shot of Ovidrel to start ovulation. We will then just have regular intercourse (as long as DH's SA comes back ok).
How does that all sound? I'm excited to have a plan in place. He said if nothing else turns up we should be prego by spring! Here's hoping that's true!!!

Sounds like a good plan!
Did they test your AMH levels? Or will they?
That's what my RE did. He said the same thing about me and PCOS... that I might have a mild case, but not because I have any of the outward symptoms or "string-of-pearls" on my ovaries. But I have a high ovarian reserve (meaning LOTS of eggs!)
That's why we were cautious with the medications also.
Good luck!

Re: First RE aptmt
Sounds great and it really is such a good feeling to have a plan.
I also am a patient of RMA of NY and have nothing but great things to say about them!
