First RE appointment on Tuesday.

Do you think I should print out all of my cycles from fertility friend? I have kept some pretty good notes on there especially around my m/c.

I have all my bloodwork and sonos that has previously been done on me, both of dh's SA results and his scrotal sono report... What else should I bring with me?

My period is like a day late, but coming since I started spotting today, so I will actually be at the office on CD3.. so that is lucky I guess because we can get that out of the way right away. I hope they draw blood at the office (RSof NY- mineola).

I am so nervous and I hope we can start IUI's right away. We'll see though.

I think its a good idea to bring your charts, that way they can get an idea about your cycle. I think its always better to be overprepared than under.
And they can and will draw blood at that office!

It can't hurt to bring all your charts, notes, and of course all lab results. My first apointment was on CD 3 also which was good because I was able to get a lot of blood work out of the way. Expect to have a regular gyno exam and an internal sonogram (yes, even with AF). Your RE may want to do some genetic testing. I was given the option of a prescription for a HSG and I decided to go for it. HTH and best of luck!

Best of luck to you. Bring everything. Though I don't remember anyone looking or asking about my charts. I had the HSG before I went to the RE, so maybe they were focused on that.

Go for an HSG, a lot women get lucky with that alone, after years of trying. something about it makes women fertile either due to cleaning out the cobwebs or the dye they use makes CM more sticky...no one really knows.

I had my DH's records sent over from his urologists office with his past SA's. I also had printed out all my charts and had them with me but we never looked at them. We went over our medical history and I was there on CD 4 and was able to get all my blood work done that day along w/ my internal sono. We decided to do an unmedicated IUI and got started right away! Hopefully you'll be able to do the same. GOOD LUCK!!!

Will they do a sono and GYN exam even with AF?? yikes
Also I didn't really get AF full force today.. still kind of spotting but it is picking up. So I don't know if I count this as CD1 or not. If I cound tomorrow that will only put me at CD2 for the appointment. I don't know how much difference one day makes. This AF is just really slow to get started for some reason. Hopefull I get her more tonight.

Yes, they will definitely do an exam even with AF.

I've never gotten an exam only a sono-Its not too bad. Good luck to you. I hope you get the answers you've been looking for

I have had a bunch of internal sonos while bleedin when I had my m/c. I bled for almost 30 days from that so they were a litle freaked out about that since it was only 5 weeks 2 days. So that isn't so bad. I just couldn't see a pap type exam with AF. The most I ever had during that time was the speculum and a quick peek inside.. Ah whatever. It will be okay.
