First post in Pregnancy!!! OK ladies....

Just got my BFP on Thursday... im only 4-5 weeks.... what do I do? Call the doc? They wont want to see me until 8 weeks, right?

I have been taking prenatals... what else should I be doing???

I know the next few weeks are critical... almost wishing I didnt know so early.....

Help!!!!

Congratulations!

Is your GYN also an OB? You can call your doctor and let them know you got a + on a HPT. Some doctors will see you right away, especially if you haven't had your annual yet and it's coming up soon. I'm new to my area and my GP isn't an OB but the new OB I'm seeing wouldn't see me until 8 weeks. Sometimes it takes a few weeks to get an appointment, though, anyway, so calling Monday might be a great bet.

Keep taking your prenatals, and start cutting out the PG "no-no's" if you haven't already -- things like sushi, unpasturized cheeses, deli meats that are sliced on commercial deli slicers, limit your caffeine to 1 cup a day (soda or coffee) if you need caffeine, up your water intake, and limit your seafood to 1 serving a week (depending on what you like, seafood-wise).
