and it was a success! My granddaughter is 3 mos old. She's been sleeping in the bassinet next to my daughters bed and has been swaddled since around week 3. Since then she has slept thru the night, from midnight till 8 or 9 every morning. She's now 15 lbs and has reached her weight limit for the bassinet. My daughter decided she wants to take her out of the swaddle before moving her to her crib. So last night was the test. Well, she went to sleep her normal time and slept ALL NIGHT! She woke around 8:30!! I told my daughter how lucky she is! Also, she doesn't want to put the baby into her crib!! She's so used to having her near, she now wants to put the pack n play in there! I told her she needs to get her used to the routine and being put in her crib at an early age otherwise she'll be in her room forever.
