FIrst IUI
Tomorrow, I will be having my first IUI.... what should I expect? Does it hurt a little? Cramps after? Do you get leakage after like after you  ?
Will Dr. B do a sono before the IUI tomorrow?

It feels like a pap. Quick and painless.
I never had any cramps or anything afterwards, no leakage - all the "stuff" is going right up into your uterus and can't come back out.
I never had a sono right before, but I went to a different doctor.

Dr.B never did a sono before any of my IUIs.....
It never hurt, maybe just some mild cramping but nothing bad at all!!! It really does feel a little like a pap smear. As for leakage... I have gotten some and asked about it because I was worried it was sperm  ........ but the procedure can actually loosen some CM so that's what the leakage is. All the sperm goes right up where it's supposed to and isn't going anywhere!  Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr.B is awesome! He told me and my DH to kiss and say I love you  (eta: during the IUI  )

I agree quick and painless! Dr. B cracked a few jokes to lighten our moods! Went on my lunch hour and went right back to work :)

I did not have a sono before my IUI and the whole procedure took literally 30 seconds. Quick and painless!! I didn't have any cramping or leakage either. Good Luck!!!!

I had 6 iui's -- all painless and over in less than 5 minutes.
None of them worked for me, but GOOD LUCK to you!

IUI are painless, not even as bad a pap smear. I had 3 our 3rd was a success. Good luck tomorrow

It went well and the anticipation was WORSE than the actual procedure! So far, no cramping or leakage. We go back tomorrow for another one. I hope this works for us this cycle!!!
