First Impressions

WHen you first meet someone.

DO you naturally give them a fair shot and think they are good?

OR do they have to prove themselves and win you over?

Re: First Impressions

I just said this on the suspicious thread but I would have to say I trust everyone right away. Its only after I see proof of otherwise that I become suspicious.

I forgot to add, some people (like me!) tend to make really bad first impressions, b/c of shyness or anxiety, so I try to remember that.

Re: First Impressions

I know I make a horrible first impression. I usually clam up until I am comfortable around others. Then I usually open up.
Unless I get a severe attitude off the bat, I'm pretty accepting of others right away

Re: First Impressions

I usually give people a few shots...first impressions are hardly ever indicative of what the persons really like. Unless they are real jerks, no excuse for that.

Re: First Impressions

On first impressions I give everyone the benefit of the doubt- but when it starts getting on a personal level- meaning you get closer to the person- before revealing anything I am suspicious and cautious so I keep that to a minimum but if a person opens up to me I def would open up back- but again depends on how well I feel I can trust them. I know it sounds bad, but I have been burned by too many and by my best friend too, Chat Icon so now I have a guard up.
