first docs appt...
...i have my first docs appt tomorrow. I will be 7 weeks Wednesday. what should i expect, and should DH be coming with?

I haven't had mine yet but I scheduled it and will also be 7 weeks. I asked what happens and they said they do a sonogram and attempt to see the heartbeat. I think they probably also do a pelvic exam, blood pressure/weight and maybe some blood work. DH is 100% coming with me.

I just had an internal sono, and they listened to the heartbeat. We met with the dr in her office. The bulk of the appointment was getting my medical history and 1000 questions. DH came to see the sono

I have mine tues. Usually its Vitals, Urine, sono, pelvic exam, and bloodwork. So exciting!!

I didnt know there was potential of hearing a heartbeat!! Now im so excited and will make sure DH is there :)

first docs appt...
Yay!! Well I just had mine on Friday and they took my BP, weight and I saw my baby and heard the heartbeat!! It was great! The Doc gave me some prenatals and a referral to get an NT Scan....I didn't bring DH and I didn't mind that...he's gonna come with me to my NT in a few weeks...I am 8 weeks....
