First appt
So after all that crap with Aetna and Southampton, I decided to make an appt. with a doctor who delivers at Stony Brook. I won't be seeing him till 8 weeks, but I am going in next Tuesday to see the nurse for blood work. If you had an appt before your 8 week with the doctor what did they do at that appointment?

same here. At 5 weeks, I went to my old GYN (who is retired from obstetrics now) for a referral to an OB. He also had me come back for a sono at 6 weeks. (saw/heard heartbeat  )
nothing else for me until my appt & 2nd sono at 10 weeks with the new OB.
