Firehouse question
Do you have to be a member of a firehouse (ex: being a volunteer, employee, etc.) to be able to have a party there? My firehouse huge and has a really nice party room. However, I am not a member, but it is in my neighborhood. How would I find out about having a party there?

My cousins threw their son's baptism party at the Firehouse in Wantagh (or Bellmore?) -- I don't think anyone in their family is a volunteer there...

I would just stop in and ask. I'm sure many firehouses would do it, depending on the type of party.

Usually you have to be a member. But they might do it if you give them a nice donation. Call and ask.
