Finding laughter along the way...
Last cycle was my first time temping (loving it, btw, wish I started sooner!) and I was showing DH my chart, explaining what it all means.
During my peak days I had notated an "E" in the cervical fluid category and explained to him the role cervical fluid plays...
Anyway, I say to DH, "Can you guess what the "E" stands for?"
DH: Excellent?
Me: Nope. Egg white!
DH: [SILENCE. Followed by an expression of panic, followed by horror and then disgust.]
I laughed for like ten minutes.

When I first told DH what EWCM stood for he was horrified too!!!
Now instead of using the term "mucus" I say fluid, Like I have that cervical fluid it's time to  .

Its amazing because these terms are so everyday things to us but when you really think about it someone else might be like  I mean, think about it. Egg white cervical mucus
