Find me a riding boot in black- Please!
Im having no luck lately. I ordered a pair from DSW, spent $100 and they look about $20! so cheap looking.
I dont want to spend too much but I think at this point I kind of have to.
I want a real rididng boot look. I have ones that are somewhat pointy now.
I am not ready for Frye boots unless someone convinces me they are worth the $$.

If you're looking to be convinced on why you should buy a pair of Frye boots, I totally recommend that you go to the store and try them on. You'll see for yourself that the style and quality is much better than "cheaper" boots and from your post, it seems as though that's what you're looking for. Yes, they are more expensive but will last you forever. However, if want to go on the cheaper side, I have seen a few Madden's that are nice.

Macys has them for $210 in black. But you can use the 20% off coupon.
Highly recommend them

Yes they are.

No..I found them to be true to size. I'm a 9.5 and both fit perfectly. Very comfortable.

Black has pewter/silver color hardware. Black Yuma has gold tone. I bought both too but kept the Black Yuma because it matches my wardrobe more. I haven't wore them out yet but looking forward to it!

When I chatted with the employee she said the black is a more solid, and the Yuma is a worn black. I have a new pair of dark brown guess riding boots I LOVE, so I asked worn as in drk brown undertones & she said no. So we will see in a few days

I went to the mall today and tried on the Frye because I am in the same boat and let me tell you, they will be on my christmas list in either tan or grey (they have a vintage look to them)! They were so comfortable and really worth the money quality wise.
I did see the ones that KlingKlang posted and they are really nice in person.

I got both today & VERY cute. I'm keeping the
Yuma. It was a smooth black & bronze buckles. While the Black had a bumpy texture to it & pewter buckles. Not my style leather.

Thanks to you guys- I went onto Nordstrom to look at the ones you posted and FOUND THE ONES I love!
SM Fairport. I have them in brown and Im so excited that Nordstrom carries them in Black.
SM store dosent even carry them anymore!
So going on Sat to get them!
