As PPs have stated, it was caught early. I too have a friend who does EI, and has told me of numerous success stories.

i am so sorry! it is great that he will receive e.i., it helps so much to start working early. i'm a spec. ed. teacher and have seen my kids grow and florish into the most amazing people.
