First, Jes, things got a little heated before. You won't accept my apology and that's fine. If you feel threatened by me in ANY WAY, I apologize. I merely meant...we'll meet up, do drinks and have a spirited debate, verbally. I truly think you overexaggerated my comment, but that's your opinion and I respect that. Again, if you felt threatened, I apologize. I won't post on your threads, and you don't post on mine...deal?
If you can't come to GTG's where I'll be, I'm sorry you feel that way, but I can't change the way you feel.
As for the looks thing, I apologize for anyone who misread that comment. To me, insulting her looks, would be to call her ugly, say she has a big nose, or whatever.
I couldn't say that - she's actualy a pretty girl.
And besides, like I said, EVERYONE has something about them that is peculiar.
I'm fat - I got a drifty eye and I have bigfoot feet. My armpits sweat like a pig. So if anyone could be made fun of - it's me. To me, there is no such thing as hot. It's up to YOU, not the media to decide what is hot.
My comment was merely to say that I have a hard time taking people with colored hair and tats seriously. I stand by that, as well as my view on how you conduct yourself.
Let's face it - there have been threads that have asked, could you take a candidate for an interview that had a nose ring seriously or a tat, or something a bit peculiar seriously
and a majority said no. It's not that you're making fun of it - it's just not your thing or what you would deal with. Different thing.

My only thought on this is that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Do I think you were talking about a verbal debate? Well, I thought that was obvious...but that doesn't mean she didn't take it as something else.

thank you for the apology. whether or not i am accepting of it is really neither here nor there but i apprecaite it.
i honestly tooke it 110% as a physical threat, but now that you have cleared up what you meant, now i can feel better about that.
as per what was said about my hair (which is brown with red highlights ) and my tattoos, that is another story and anyone who thinks i shouldn't or wouldn't take it to heart must not get judged on a daily basis by their appearance.
