Fibroids
So I had a sono done today to rule out any issues with my ovaries, uterus, etc.
They found some fibroids behind my uterus but tech told me not to worry about it, it was not that serious and that the doctor would review with me once she reviews it.
She also said my ovaries look good and I have plenty of eggs on them. Now if I could just get preggo with those eggs.
Anyway does anyone else have fibroids? How are you dealing with them?

Re: Fibroids
Many women have fibroids. My mother had them forever but didn't run into problems until one of them grew very large causing her pain during urination. Unless the fibroids are causing pain or other issues, most doctors will leave it alone. Are you have discomfort?

Re: Fibroids
My doctor found fibroids 2 months ago when I had my chemical pg. The OB/GYN said it is nothing to worry about because my fibriods are the size of a small grape. She said I should go home and BD!!

Re: Fibroids
I actually got to see my tiny fibroid in the video from my surgery. I only have one and it is not interfering with TTC nor will it be a danger once I become pregnant.

Re: Fibroids
I have a history of huge, tremendous fibroids. I had surgery. They often grow back and I now I have several small ones, which are not currently a concern. I have read that up to 70 percent of women have at least some fibroids, with larger ones being more rare and more problematic. See what your doctor says and if you have to, get a few opinions about your options. BTW, the surgery did not help with my periods but it did help with pressure I was feeling. My fibroids were pushing other organs out of place and the surgery relieved that.
