Fibroid
Anyone have any experience with this lovely twit?
Found out yesterday that I have two. One in the uterine cavity & the other on the wall. Both are the size of marbles.
Need to get a sonohysterogram ultrasound next week. Try saying that 10times fast. lol
I did find out that it's common for broads my age.
Any info or experiences with the sono would be great.
TIA

Re: Fibroid
I have had a few. I had one(maybe it was 2) taken out but they only took them out because they were in there removing polyps.
I have one now that is under whatever the size is that they remove them. Dr said due to size and location it would make a difference in TTC and have had no issues since i have been PG.

Re: Fibroid
i dont have any but lots of women in my family do. It didnt seem to stop anyone from getting pregnant. My mother had surgery to remove them after many years. They had grown to a size where it was bothering her.
yours sounds small, i believe it depends on the location if it will affect ttc.

im so worried that its going to get in the way of us ttc
they seemed a little suprised that i have zero symptons.
i went to the doc because ive getting cramps 6-7 days before af is due and i was hoping to get some answers plus wanted other test done to make sure everythings ok because of my age

yup....i see it on every sono I get. I had no symptoms. I thought I was all clear after they removed the polyps and fibroids but when I starting seeing my current OBGYN and he did a sono cause I wasnt getting PG he found this one. I have had 3 Drs (gyn, and 2 REs) see it on sonos and all said no need to worry.
I am 15 weeks and have no symptoms due to it....just my regular morning sickness and stuff.
If its small then they will just let it go.
I waited a year before talking to my Dr about TTC issues and I probably should have done it sooner due to my age (now 38) I def suggest talkign to your Dr and they will probably start with an HSG.....which will also help with showing if your fibroid is an issue.

Re: Fibroid
the doc did say that if i wasnt pregs by oct that dh should get a sperm analysis before they did any other testing on me.
is that kool or do you think i should push for the testing because of my age.turning 36 in sept.

Re: Fibroid
They say 6mos if you are over 35. So if 6 mons is sooner then I would push but I think 6mons is a decent time to try on your own.
My dr sent DH for the SA and me for the HSG at the same time and then I started clomid and did IUIs. I did 2 before moving on and was jsut about to start IVF when BAM I got PG on my own.
