Fertilization Report is In
I just got the fertilization call. 11 of 20 fertilized. We did ICSI on half. I guess I was hoping for more but 11 it is. We are doing a 5 day single embryo transfer on Sunday. Hopefully we will have some frozen in case this cycle doesn't work. Thanks again for all your support ladies!

 wow thats great!!!! I am wondering though, I had 11 fertilize too and they told me I could not do a 5dt Thats what I wanted. At this point I cannot help but wonder if that would have made a difference for me.

We insisted on a single embryo transfer from the beginning because we do not want twins. Dr. B suggested a 5 dt because of this. It's a gamble because there is a chance that none make it to day 5 but this was a chance we were willing to take.

That is great. Were all 20 mature, because that makes a difference in your fertilization rate.
I had 7 eggs at ER in May. Only 3 were mature and all three fertilized. One fertilized abnormally and the other two looked good.
And 11 is great!!!! Good luck for Sunday.
