Fertility Friend users (with chart)
What "Method" do you use? I'm so confused with my chart this month. Using the advanced method, it hasn't noted ovulation yet, but if I put it on the research method, it says i ovulated on Sunday (which makes sense considering my positive OPK on Friday) with my temp back at the coverline today. Here is a link to my chart (with the advanced method)...any input?

Also, what "method" do you use.
Thanks ladies!

Re: Fertility Friend users (with chart)
I have mine on advanced too and it did not show ovulation for me- even though I got a + OPK on cd17, followed by a - OPK on cd18- so I figure I O'd sometime between 17-19.
there is also the chance that my body geared up to O and didnt, its so hard to tell
Sorry I guess my answer didnt give you any info- but wanted you to know that you are not alone- try not to stress

Re: Fertility Friend users (with chart)
Thanks! It's just so hard because almost a year ago I was hoping this would be our month (of course I would have been happy if it happened earlier but was eyeing this month for some reason). I just don't want this to be month I don't even ovulate!!

Re: Fertility Friend users (with chart)
I found this on FF and it explains the difference between the advanced & research- hope it helps:
The Advanced Detector is our recommended detector and the default for all charts. We recommend that you keep your chart on this setting. This detector takes all your fertility signs into account. It uses the computing power of our servers to actually scan for patterns of ovulation on your charts based on the many patterns that we have encountered through our years of experience. Once it has determined your most likely ovulation day based on all your fertility signs, it then determines a coverline (the horizontal line across your chart) with a reasonable value to show you your biphasic (ovulation) pattern. Our advanced detector simultaneously takes into account all signs and data you enter to determine the best interpretation.
The Research Detector is our cutting edge research detector. This detector includes all new patterns and improvements as we find them. With time and testing, we roll new findings into the advanced detector when appropriate. Since this detector is continuously under construction, it can be unstable. You should use it only if you wish to check for enhancements that are not yet rolled into the advanced detector.

I don't mess with the "Research" method, it does crazy things to my chart. I stick with Advanced.

Thanks ladies. Even with the research method, it is only going by my positive OPK on Friday...I don't know..I guess I'll have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.
