fertility friend help

UGh this is so confusing. i have just the basic FF. i put in my cycle history for the past 4 months. this month it has AF due to arrive today (12/14) and then fertile days starting Saturday (12/17). that's impossible...if AF comes; it will not end at least until 5-6 days from now so say (12/19) and then wouldn't the fertile days start a little after that?

I tried leaving the cycle length blank in the settings and i tried putting in a fixed date yet it still gives me fertile days of 12/17??? Shouldn't it just estimate the fertile days based on the history i put in?

Based on the prior months history (AF start/end date) it estimates i "O" around cycle days 12-14. NOT "3-4"

If you get AF and enter it into FF your estimated fertile days for the next cycle might change. I've noticed changes to the calendar when Ive recorded my actual AF dates.

ok I'll just wait until AF (Chat Icon Chat Icon ) arrives and put that date in. all other months seem about right so that might just be the trick.

Just in case- are you sure you are reading the legend correctly? Mine shows my projected fertile days 3 days before my projected O day.... are you reading it to be AF day instead of fertile day?

I think Fertility Friend $ucks. It gives you false hopes and doesn't predict your ovulation the way it should. I think old school manual charting and reading your CM is the way to go.

and I find it so accurate , it's crazy! Been using it for about 4-5 months now and it's been dead on the whole time.

Re: fertility friend help

sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. I think it helps as a tool but it was soo off this month. It projected my O day to be CD19-23 which it really was on the 16th. Not the programs fault, that was all my body. Maybe my focus on being healthier helped me O early for a healthier LP.
