Fertility doctors in Suffolk...Please Help!
Hi,
I am looking to find a doctor for my sister, who is having fertility problems.
Can you please let me know of fertility doctors/high risk (not sure if they are the same thing) in suffolk county?

Well a fertility doctor is usually a reproductive endocrinologist and they would help someone achieve pregnancy. A high risk doctor, would be a high risk ob/gyn and they would care for a woman who is already pregnant. I'm assuming your sister is having difficulty getting pregnant. I use LI-IVF. They have offices in Port JEff, Melville, and Lake Success. If she has insurance, she should check there first.

Yes, she is having problems getting pregnant.
So, she should call her ins company for recommendations....is that what you are saying?
Is that what your office is called LI-IVF?

I love them!!!!!! Dr. Stelling is my favorite.

I do. I had seen a different RE for years before making the switch a few months ago... I never would've switched except so many people on here talked me into it b/c my Dr. didn't have his own lab and we were def. heading for IVF... there are a lot of knowledgable people on our board- all looking out for eachother.
I see Dr. Kenigsberg and HIGHLY recommend him. I find him to be extremely knowledgable- he has a book out called "The Baby Solution".
Does she know what she's dealing w/? Has she had any testing done?

Another LI-IVF patient here...rolled over from RSNY (wasn't happy there).
I also see Dr. Kenigsberg and find him to be extremely knowledgable and helpful.

She has had many problems but has never been to a fertility doctor....so, we are praying that she can even get pregnant and hold a baby.
So, she was told to go to a fertility doctor and see what they say.

Did you check with your insurance carriers, before you went to a fertility doctor?
Also, is your insurance covering you for each appt....How about IVF, I know some insurances do not cover that procedure?
