Feeling a little anxious about 3rd c-section...
I know its months away but I am just starting to feel a little nervous about the 3rd csection. One reason is the OB said he would like to have a surgeon in the room because in case a bowel attaches to my scar tissue he wants to have him there to remove it...Dr says I have A LOT of scar tissue from the previous sections. Also, I have 2 seperate cuts on my uterus from both kids going in different directions so he told me this section is going to be a little more risky?
Anyone ever know of anyone that had similar issues?

Re: Feeling a little anxious about 3rd c-section...
No advice, but I will be having mu 2nd c-section in 3 weeks and I feel nervous also. I almost feel like it was better to not really know what to expect. Now I totally know what to expect, so it makes me feel anxious about it. I think it's also b/c I think about my DD and just worry about something happening to me and how it would effect her. I know all will be fine, as I am sure you will be fine, so I just wanted to ramble and send

Re: Feeling a little anxious about 3rd c-section...
I can't say I'm looking at my 3rd c-section in 3 weeks with no anxiety either. It's funny, you would think that this being our third time around we would be like no sweat.
I'm looking forward to the valium they give you just before - I remember feeling very anxious for c/s #2 and once they gave me the valium I was good. Still nervous, but it helped. I might ask for stronger dose this time if it's safe.
I'm having a tubal ligation during the c/s this time so I know it's going to take a little longer and that I know is going to make me nervous too because there's no better feeling than when it's all over and the longer that takes to happen, the harder it is.
What I do remember though is that once they get the baby out, your mind is only on the baby for quite some time so you forget about everything going on down there and it makes the time go by faster.
Tell your DH to talk to you alot and give you the play by play of what's going on with the baby - that usually helps too.
