Feeding Schedule Question
My DS (3 months )is taking 5 bottlles of 5-6 ounces a day. He eats from 3.5 to 4.5 hours, Currently b.c he wakes at different times in the morning & naps whenever he wants, we adjust the times of bottles each day to ensure he eats his last bottle closer to bedtime. I am thinking of attempting to make a set time for his bottles everyday, so maybe we can get feeding and napping on a real schedule. Any Thoughts

Re: Feeding Schedule Question
My girls were on a 3 hour schedule from the NICU. We never took them off of it. We did adjust it. Once they started sleeping more at night and not waking to eat as much, we still kept the schedule during the day. They have been on a great sleeping and eating schedule. It is nice for us to know when things should happen, especially with twins.

Feeding Schedule Question
I never put my DS on a schedule. He is almost 10m and he put himself on one for naps, bedtime and bottles. Meals he gets at a set time. But for naps I was no way forcign him to nap....it would cause more stress than it was worth. For a bottle schedule. He ate when he was hungry....once again trying to give him a bottle when he didnt want it would cause crying.

Re: Feeding Schedule Question
my dd is 3 months and I WISH she had a regular schedule. She HATES to nap. She doesnt take a paci and refuses to nap and gets overly tired and cranky. It drives us all crazy. I usually get her to bed around the same time everynight, which we are working on getting her to go to bed earlier. She generally sleeps through the night. Occasionally will wakeup at 4 or 5 for a bottle and go back to sleep.
