Anyone's baby on a 2 hour feeding schedule? Question inside...
I started this today. I think it will work best for DS the way things have been going.
6:30 am - nursed 8:30 am - breakfast (oatmeal and 5 oz of veggies or fruit) sippy cup offered 10:30 am - 9 oz bottle of BM 12:30 - lunch (yogurt and 2.5 oz of fruit) sippy cup offered 2:30 - 9 oz bottle of BM 4:30 - nursed 5:30 - dinner (barley, tofu, veggies etc.) sippy cup offered 6:45ish - nursed to sleep
My question is, when did you find DC dropping a bottle or drinking less? I just added the third meal (lunch) a couple of days ago. He still seems to finish off the bottles of BM at daycare. I am wondering if going every two hours instead of every 3-4 hours will make a difference.
ETA: Can you please share your schedule and the age of your child? DS is 7 months.

DD gets a bottle every two hours that she is awake. She is 6 months old (SUNDAY!)
8AM wake up BOTTLE 10AM BOTTLE nap 1PM wake up BOTTLE, fruit or veg, sippy cup 3PM BOTTLE 5PM wake up 6PM BOTTLE 8PM BOTTLE
She is drinking 6oz of BM in each bottle, x6.
I am dreading adding more food LOL it takes up so much time!

Wow! Your little guy can eat!!!
DD cut down on formula a lot when we started food.
A normal day goes something like this:
8 wake up
830 breakfast 2-3 oz fruit/cereal/pancake (whatever) and 6 oz sippy, drinks maybe 4 oz
1045 bottle 6 oz (drinks about 4 oz usually)
1230/1 - depending on wake up time 2-4oz food puree or table food
330ish 6 oz bottle and nap
530/6 dinner 2-4oz puree or table food w/sippy
730 6oz bottle

DD really didn't drop the formula all that much now that she is on solids. I feel like she still drinks almost as much as before.
She eats about every 3 hours. I tried to up the ounces per bottle to stretch it out more, but she wont' take more than 6 ounces per bottle TOPS!

Re: Anyone's baby on a 2 hour feeding schedule? Question inside...
DD is almost 7 months, and I'm still playing around with her schedule...but this is roughly what a day looks like.
7-7:30ish, 8 oz bottle 8:30-stage 2 fruit and 4tbsp of oatmeal 11 or 12(depending on when she wakes), either yogurt or a stage 2 veggie along with avocado or mashed banana and puffs or mum mum
2ish-8oz bottle 5ish-stage 2 veggie and stage 2 fruit
7ish-8oz bottle
