On LI, I also like Prime, La Pizzetta, Matteos, Emilios, Pancho Villas and this Peruvian restaurant in Smithtown my parents took me to recently...I don't remember the name but it was sooo good and soooo much food!

Peppercorns (Hcksville) Fantastic food. Make sure you call for a reservation if you go on the weekend.
Taorminas (Smithtown) Very decieving! Pizzaeria front with a tight restaurant in the back, but awesome food! Love the owner there.
