Favorite nail polish BRAND?
I like OPI and Sinful Colors (I never had an issue with their formula).

I like sinful colors, too. It's not the best but at $1.99 a pop, it's good for me. Especially since I usually change my nail polish every weekend anyway.
I did just get an AWESOME color from a brand I've never heard of. I tried it on my nail in Duane Reade and loved the way it came out. The brand name is "Prevail" and I think it's DR brand. But they had some really nice metallic and glittery colors. It was $5 at DR.
I got "Hit the Pavement" which is a light grey with a subtle shimmer. And then I got a silver sparkle to go over my ring nail.

I think the quality of Essie often depends on the nail salon.
When I find an Essie color I love, I buy it and the consistency is much different than it is in the salon. I feel like when they get thick, the nail place puts a thinner in and thats what leads to the poor quality.
I happen to be partial to OPI. My new favorite is "Call Me Gwenever" its part of the Spiderman collection, haha.
I've been having the same problems with the ones I purchase new though also. I think maybe they have cheapened the formula...
