favorite gifts you have ever gotten.....need ideas!
i have tons of family birthdays coming up (mostly female 23 and older) and have no idea what to get anyone....i ALWAYS give gift cards and wanted to get an actual gift.
any ideas.....ever gotten or given anything that stood out?

For my bridal shower, one of my bridesmaids made me a personal recipe collection from recipes she had made and thought I would like and she put little comments on each recipe. That was one of my favorite gifts and I used it often.

As a wedding gift we got a gift card to best buy, we thought it was awesome. We put it towards a LED TV.

Gifts that I have given that have gone over really well:
Jewelry from museum gift shops and really surprisingly Epcott in Disney. I gave my mom, MIL and my grandma merano glass necklaces and they wear them all the time.
Nice stationary with their initial.
Good knives (henkels, whostoff)
Things for the kitchen.
If they have a kitchenaid stand mixer - what about one of those new blades with the rubber spatula attached?
Decorative salad servers - there are some at Macy's now that look like leaves. They are really pretty.
Nightgown and robe sets
GC to Elizabeth Arden Spa
Clothing from Macy's with a gift receipt. Even if they don't like it they can return it to get something they want.

sewing machine. I didn't even know I wanted it until my Mom gave it to me.
Also, I love tix to do something like a play or a show. Or a manipedi/ massage.

they start at $40 (cord material)and $50 (silver material) and go up from there and the charms start at 20 and work up from there!
I love that they clean them for free..so now about once a month when I go to Roosevelt field mall, I go right there - drop it off, shop and pick it up an hour later! =)
I do hear other brands like Chamilia charms fit Pandora bracelets but I do not own any!
