Absolutely! I hate waiting in lines and the Fantasmic! dining package puts you in a much shorter line for the show.

Re: Fantasmic Dining package worth it?
definitely worth it if you hate lines and want to show up 15 min prior to the show vs 1.5

Yes my friends who have older kids and have done it said yes BUT just a warning - the seating is usually off to the side so the nice part is no long waits in line but you won't have the best seats.

Re: Fantasmic Dining package worth it?
It depends.
The package is great if you value not having to wait in line over having good seats. The package seats are generally to the far right. Fantasmic! is a show best seen from the middle.
it also depends on the time of year. On my last trip I got in line an hour before the second showing and got dead center seats right in front. Other times you'd have to get in line earlier than that. I've also gone in the really off season and gotten in 30 min before.
if it's a busy season, or you REALLY can't stand in line, then I would say it's more worthwhile. otherwise, i like to take my chances and try to sit in the middle section.
If you choose to go it alone without the package, I would suggest trying to see the SECOND showing if there is one. It's always less crowded. The downside is you have to wait in line and they have to clear the amphitheater before you can go in, so you're i line a lot of the time, wheras for the earlier show you can usually do a lot of your waiting sitting.

This is good advice but I think most people who are trying to do it have little ones who won't make the second performance. The sad part is that the second show is mostly couples, adults, and families with older children who can do the wait.

It depends on how you schedule the naps, etc and how old the kids are. I see a lot of people with toddlers at evening EMH. If your kids can make it, the wait will be less at show #2.

Are the stopping Fantasmic? It's not listed on the unofficial guide's website on the magic hours/show times prediction page for 2013.

Re: Fantasmic Dining package worth it?
Disney just brought Fantasmic! back from an expensive and long refurbishment and it's running nearly nightly through the spring/summer.
While I don't doubt that they'll change it someday, maybe to a World of Color-type show, I think it's pretty safe to say that we won't see that change in 2013.
