Family Gatherings...
So, today is Yom Kippur and tonight I am going to MIL's for break fast. There are a TON of people there-- like 50ish, a lot of people who were at my wedding-- friends and family of my MIL.
I am sorta nervous because I guess by now, most people know I am prego-- and I KNOW everyone is going to be checking me out, or wanting touch me inappropriately . I just hate all eyes on me...
Anyone else with me?

I hear ya. My Aunt attempted to touch my stomach when I was up in NY a few months ago and I just stepped back. They got the hint. Im not a big touchy person.

I feel for you! I hate being touched or fawned over. Plus the endless same questions over and over- do you know what you are having? Names picked out? all the same day is so tiring

same here.. i dont like attention makes me very uncomfortable. My family isnt a touchie feely family so i didnt have to deal with the whole touching of belly thing.

Have a good time - Try not to stress too much about it .
But I'm w/ you. I hate being the center of attention, I even hate TELLING people I'm pregnant !!
I don't have the belly yet, but even now everyone is checking me out to see if I gained any weight and if I'm showing (13 weeks ????? ) and blah blah - it's annoying.....

At Rosh Hashannah we saw some family I haven't seen in a while and they all went for the belly right away, I was visibly uncomfortable and they stopped..I'm not close with them, don't fondle me....

def set up a plan with your DH...i learned when it was too late how utterly uncomfortable i get when people want to touch my belly.  maybe he can run interference and block touchy feely's before they even happen
