I'm taking clomid and yesterday around 7pm i got my first ever smiley face on OPK's. I took one again this morning and no smiley face. Does that mean that I o'd last night and its over? Is there anyway the smiley from last night wasn't actual ovulation?
The OPK detects your LH surge and then ovulation occurs 24-48 hours after getting a positive OPK. You probably caught the end of your surge last night and it went back down today giving you a negative this morning. I would go with the smiley from yesterday

i agree. once you get a positive OPK there is no reason to take another one. you should BD the day you get your and for one or two days after since ovulation is not guaranteed to happen right away.
