extra shot of Hep B. . .updated. . .I am an idiot
So DD had her 8 month well visit today, we were running late so I didn't stop home to get her journal of shots. The Dr. gave her the Hep B Vaccine. When I got home and wrote in her journal I realized that they gave her, her third Hep B vaccine last time we were there because the did not have the prevnar shot. I don't kow if I more ****** at this or worried that something might happen.
I am going to call in the morning but do you think anything could happen having an extra Hep B vaccine???
Update:
So I just off the phone with the DR. and she got the HIB shot yesterday, not the Hep B. So I feel stupid!!!!

I dont think she will necessarily have an issue, maybe a fever?.
But i was would be p i s s e d
and I would call the service and have the Dr paged right now to inform him of his error and ask if there is anything you should look out for...

I don't understand how he didn't see it either in her chart. I have been thinking about changing Peds and now there is no question in my head that I am switching.
I just called the service and I am waiting to hear back!!

I spoke to the doctor last night, he said that IF she did get an extra dose, it would be the same as if she were exposed to the disease from a person and it can not harm her.
He then said he doesn't remember seeing it in the chart, but to call in the morning so we can go over the chart together. I am still p*ssed off though. Like other said what else could they mix up. . . gggggrrrrrrrr
