Explain the pedicure thing to me again...
I REALLY want to get a pedicure tonight, but I think I'm in the 2WW. Is it ok if they put the lotion on, or do I have them just skip it all together? Should I ask them to massage my legs and not my feet/ankles?

Pedicures are only *potentially* bad if you are pregnant, not in the 2WW, because there are certain pressure points on your ankles that can cause labor contractions. However, those spots are hard to find unless you are a professional acupressurist, and most women (myself included) get regular pedis throughout their pregnancy.
If I were you, I'd go for the full pedi and maybe even an extra foot massage to relax

Thanks! I heard there was the potential of miscarriage, so I was concerned about that. I believe one of the girls on here (FlowerWife?) couldn't get a massage at a spa because she was in the TWW, and that's when the pedicure thing came up. I know some women get pedicures at the end of their PG in hopes it will start labor, but I also heard it's very hard to find the spots pressure is needed on. Thanks for reassuring me!

I posted that in Flowerwife's post. Basically pp is correct, in your third trimester ankle massage and foot massage *may* induce labor. I only posted that out of concern so she would not be caught of guard and decide for herself about getting a massage when she is PG.
