Exersaucer?

When are you supposed to raise it?

How are they supposed to be able to stand? Flat footed or tip toed?

They are supposed to be able to stand feet flat. If they're legs are bent while standing then it is time to raise.

The directions that came with mine say:
Allow only the baby's toes to touch the base. DO NOT allow the baby to stand flatfooted on the base. As baby grows and becomes more active, raise the tray to the next level so that baby enjoys the most comfortable fit and maximum use of the rock, spin, and bounce features.

really? I based my answer on what the logical thing to do is.........I wonder why standing feet flat is not good? I am under the assumption the excersaucer helps your child learn to stand as well. Chat Icon

Yeah, we keep her tip-toed, as per the directions.
