Exercising while TTC
I'm sure this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it when I searched
anyway..
Is it ok to do regular workouts?
I "try" to work out 3-4 days a week. I walk on an incline 6 for 40 mins or 2miles whichever comes first. Then I do light weights afterwards. I haven't done any situps in a while.

YES! It's actually very good for you. You can even exercise when you're pregnant as long as you've been doing this b4 you got preggo.
I worked out hard b4 prego with DS then I still worked out, but not as hard core. Walked on the treadmill a lot at nights too and they say it's good for you to exercize when you give birth. Recover faster and may even have an easier birth b/c you have good muscles.

if i didn't have such a messed up back i'd still be jogging...now i just walk and once in awhile lift light weights...i am hoping i can continue during pregnancy...

You can DEFINITELY continue everything you're doing while TTC. And anything you're doing before you get PG you can continue once you are PG. Except high impact sports or anything with a helmet. (No wrestling or white water rafting, for example.)
That would only change if you happened to be diagnosed with placenta previa and put on pelvic rest, but you'd find out about that around 12 weeks.
They were having "marathon" training at the gym the month I got pregnant -- it was a contest to see who can complete a certain number of classes and a variety of different ones within a few weeks (not running a marathon, they just called it that). I told the gym program director I credit her extra push at the gym with helping me get pregnant!

Definitely! I still continue with my workouts and I'm 12 weeks preggo! You can continue any workout ttc or preggo as long as you were doing it before. Exercise is very good for you!
