EWCM - (TMI)

Ok when I was on BCP I almost always had EWCM. The first time I noticed it I freaked out and the GYN said thats what it was. Now that I am off BC EWCM disappeared. Where did it go and how do I get it back?

Honestly that doesn't make much sense. EWCM happens prior to ovulation. When you are on BC, you are not ovulating. You would have little to no EWCM while on the pill. The pill actually works to thicken CM to make it more difficult for conception to occur in case an egg did get released. Are you sure you were seeing EWCM?

When did you go off the pill? My guess is that you haven't gotten close to ovulation yet.

Yes at least thats what I thought it was. The strange thing is before I was on the pill I never had it, then when I went back on the pill I started seeing it when I didn't know what it was I called my GYN who told me it was CM. I stopped taking BCP in January and it disappeared again.
