Re: Evening Sickness
I am sick ALL the time... It happened to me with my first pregnancy as well. Between the heartburn and the nausea, it's horrible. Try to have some ginger ale. I find it really is helping my stomach.

Re: Evening Sickness
When I am sick I get worse as the day progresses....I think that the term "morning sickness" has to be changed to "anytime sickness"!

Re: Evening Sickness
when do you get off of work?? I found that my "M/S" would get really bad after work, since my mind was no longer on the kids and teaching, I was able to "focus" on the cr@ppy feeling... KWIM.
After I got out of work, I would make sure to have a ginger ale and some sort of carb... if that didn't work, I would use Therapeutic Grade Peppermint Oil (from a holisitic health store) on my tongue and it would help.
Hope you feel better soon!!

Re: Evening Sickness
When I was pregnant the night time was the worst. I would get SO nauseous around 7 pm and dry heave until I fell asleep. I started eating small meals (tater tots, english muffins, peanut butter bars, grilled cheese) and although I felt terrible when I was eating them, I felt better at night and into the next morning. I found that my morning sickness lessened when I was eating small meals at night.

Re: Evening Sickness
When I was pregnant, I only got morning sickness in the evening. It started around 3-4 pm and lasted until I went to bed. I could barely eat dinner. Nothing helped me to ease it. It started to get better around 16 weeks.

I think I will try this. Right now just eating dinner is not helping so maybe little meals will.

Re: Evening Sickness
Yes, I would, for the most part, only get sick at night. Thank god it has finally subsided, but for awhile there I felt like I would never feel normal again! I tried ginger ale and crackers, but what I found to help the most was chewing peppermint gum!
