I don't wear sweat pants or yoga pants. I usually change into jeans when I come home from work.
Ahh. I don't find jeans to be comfortable so I take them off as soon as I get home. I lounge in yoga pants. I can't imagine hanging out at home in jeans (unless we're having company) but whatever you're comfortable in.

i am sure she didn't mean it was the number one reason
but just in general. I wear no makeup ever (i will sometimes put eye shadow, eye liner, mascara and lip gloss if I am going out and i did get my makeup done for my wedding) and am in sweats or pj at home all the time. if my husband wants to leave me for that reason good riddance. he knew what I was from the beginning; I wasn't wearing makeup and never "dressed up" when we first met so there should be no expectation now for me to do this

ITA. When I put on old pajamas that DH hates he always gets mad! We have been together for almost 15 years, married for almost 8, but he still likes me to not totally let go and look good for him!

She's Cuban- most Cuban women I know (I am Cuban) really believe this. I don't- I wear sewatpants sometimes and hubby could care less. But for instance, my Cousin was cheated on and my Aunt stupidly blamed her not taking care of herself as she once did. Give me a break. It's the guy's fault- clearly.

OMG this is ridiculous! Even if she was serious who cares? She thinks she keeps a man by being dolled up all the time. I live in my sweats and gym clothes. My DH doesn't care although sometimes I'm sure he wants to see me dressed nice. There are men who like woman to always be dressed nice and men who like casual women and so on! Same goes in reverse.
Eta: one day I was talking to two moms and one said how she spent $300 bucks on sunglasses. I said man if I did that my DH would divorce me, totally as a joke because I think that so expensive for glasses. They took it so serious and were like oh no that's why my money is separate and no one tells me how to spend it. lol, so it could've been a joke!

Seriously. What she wrote was absurd. It doesn't even make sense.
Furthermore, why are people assuming Eva was joking when she said this? What is in a live interview? I only ask because I know there are women (and men) who think like this.

now that I think of it my aunt who is PR thinks this way too. she really told me its a wifes job to take care of her husband and that basically if they cheat its not their fault but yours it took everything in me not to call her an idiot.

well, I do think wearing sweatpants makes it easy to let go, not take care of ourselves and even gain wt. I am not saying it leads to divorce but I do think it has some truth, in that, it make one feel "lazy' about self.
I know from experience, so this is my opinion.
