My brother, my only sibling, is several years younger than I am. SIL got a BFP this week. Do DH and I need to put our attempts on hiatus for a few months to be polite and out of respect for them?
(background: DH and I were planning to get engaged and delayed our engagement by several months after my brother and SIL announced their engagement. They had a two-year engagement; we got married first.)
I'm happy for them and simultaneously very sad for myself and DH and the direction our lives are taking.

absolutley not. I started TTC 4 months before my sister did, she got pregnant her first month off BCP, I most certainly did not put my TTC on hold.

No way. I just found out my SIL is pregnant which means we are pregnant together with the same due date. I am so excited I have someone close to go through this with.
