Ethan Allen....Long Rave!
Okay ladies, check this out.... Usually i'm not an EA type girl, niether is DH. Yesterday on our quest for a new living room set for the new house , we found exactly what we wanted with everything being custom. I went to every furniture store that ever existed and this has been a challenge. I was so happy with picking our sectional from Ethan Allen and customizing it down to the ottoman as our coffee table. They may be a little pricey but it's an investment in the long run! and you really can be creative and get what you want. They also have all BM paint samples which helped us decide our paint for our living room color. Our interior designer/sales woman Joanne is also coming to the house which is included... to help us position the furniture for the room.

congrats! all my upholstered furniture as well 2 area rugs, 2 end tables, a chest and my office desk is from EA. LOVE them and IMO the prices (with the exception of window treatments and accessories) are reasonable for the quality and service provided/ received. if you plan on purchasing more items, note that the designers will visit your home, take measurements and meet with you in-store to discuss their recommendations.
waiting time sux but well worth it. post pics when you receive.
beautyq115, EA does not offer custom (other than fabric choices) pieces. everything is stock. however, DH offers custom pieces.

The woman we dealt with is coming to the house...she was beyond helpful in helping us choose the fabrics. We are truly pleased...

i totally understand your frustration about going to a million furniture stores and not being satisfied with the selection. i finally realized that especially w/upholstery pieces, you need to go custom to get more unique pieces. of course it's more expensive, but if you use the piece for a long time it's worth it! happy to hear you were able to find something you love!

Same thing happened with us. We went to a million furniture stores and never found anythign we liked for our entire house. Went to EA and wound up furnishing our whole house there. They were very helpful in the process. Glad you liked them.
