estrogen and prog levels

so dr's office just called at 5dp5dt of an 8 cell embie my prog levels are 74, but my estrogen is low. so now they are putting me on estrogen (estrace).

good or bad? now this is just something else. ugh, i just feel like this is going to fail. I didn't ask how low the estrogen was, she said just a little low.

She said the prog level is great. so at least that is good.

Any thoughts? I am trying hard not to worry, but I don't know what to think.

I went on estrogen patches around the same time they are being recommended for you. I did a single embryo 5dt and now I am 13 weeks pregnant. Best of luck!

I had a similar experience last week. My progesterone was 43 and my E2 was only 32. According to the lab that did the b/w E2 for pregnancy in 1st tri should be higher than 215. I made myself nuts looking this up on the internet. I think its good that they are putting you on estrogen patches. They didn't put me on estrogen patches. I'm not sure why but all my research said I should. 2 days later my progesterone was 27 and E2 was 13. Everyone said not to worry about it. But, sounds like they are doing the right thing.
