Error message on OPK
So yesterday was CD18 and I haven't gotten my yet which is odd since I usually O between 14-18 latest.
I get a freaking error msg (when I tested at 7:30PM) and read the directions - it says to try again immediately (which obviously isn't with a 4 hr hold). I didn't get my surge. But I'm wondering how accurate that is?
So now I have 2 sticks left - I'm thinking I'll test with them this weekend and then give up after this and assume I missed it. This is just so odd. My cycles ranges from 28-32 days (more like 29/30) and my luteal phase is 14 days, so I'm at like 34days now IF I get my smiley tonight. I'm not sure I want to run out and get more OPKs and keep up with this frustration. The holding and not drinking fluids for 4 hrs every day is really difficult for me with nursing. I need to drink tons of water to keep my supply up.
WWYD??

Re: Error message on OPK
I think I would just keep BDing. Who knows what happened? I would just play it safe and probably BD the next few days!

We've been BD every other day since CD12 and plan to go again today and tomorrow (so 3 days in a row CD18-20) and then I'm probably calling it quits with this schedule - it's only our first month and I'm already getting aggravated with the process which I swore I wouldn't do this time around.

I would keep bd like the above poster said.
I also gave up on the OPK kits and invested in the CBEFM. no guess work involved and you dont have to do the 4 hour holds b/c you test with FMU.
Might be something to look into.
Amazon has them for a good price!

I was seriously considering the CBEFM but figured I should TTC for a couple of months first and then see about investing in that. It sounds like a dream to me, but I don't want to jump the gun and spend $150 on something before trying a couple of months with the sticks and lots of BD.
