ER Fertilization Report
Well...out of 17 eggs, 4 were immature so down to 13. Out of the 13 eggs, 8 fertilized with ICSI.
All of a sudden I feel an overwhelming sense of anxiousness that I haven't felt until this point.
Please keep the good wishes coming.

They told me to call back tomorrow and they would know better then. Is that normal?

I guess all REs are different. I was told I would get a call on day 3 letting me know if I was going to ET that day or do a day 5 transfer.

I'm not sure...which one usually has the most success or is there no difference? All I know is that I haven't been nervous up till this point and now I'm getting nervous! I don't know why. Maybe it is just more REAL now!

Re: ER Fertilization Report
I've heard pros and cons to both. But that's a great report and ask them about the difference between a 3 and 5 day when they call you. Good luck!!!!!!!

Most likely if you have more than 5/6 emby's that are doing great on CD3 they will move you to 5dt. Supposedly, 5dt is a better indicator of quality. But, it is what it is. No one can really predict that. But studies have shown that a 5 day blast has a better rate of success than a 3dt which is usually 6-8 cell range.
The stressful part is that they are not inside you, once back in you will feel so much better. But, then you will be scared to do anything for fear of bumping your uterus (which you really can't do). The worry and stress never cease. It just goes in stages. Do whatever you can to try and relax, deep breathing etc.. whatever works for you.

Re: ER Fertilization Report
Great report!!!! We had about the same outcome! Please keep us posted! And don't worry if it's a 3-day transfer -- see the other post about it....there's no proof one way or the other which one is "better". Keep the faith!!!
