EPT Question.....
I know you'll think I'm nuts but I tested again tonight. I have come to the conclusion that I have no patience! lol
I'm still not due for AF for 2-3 more days. Last night when I used the EPT it was a blatant negative....However, tonight it was a bit different. Here's my situation. I'd love your feedback:
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. I'm in the 2WW but have been experiencing tender and swollen breasts and some bloating in my stomach area. I took another EPT test a little while ago and i dont understand the results. It is the EPT test that forms a +/- sign. The control line showed up and in the results window of course the --- line showed up but there are several vertical dots where the positive line would show but only above the line. (I'd say 3 or 4 dots above) So i am confused. I wanted to ask you guys for some help because you always seem to have the answers and if not then you always offer positive reinforcement. So ladies...what do you think?
And of course I'll retest again! lol

Is the dye in the test blue? I'm assuming it is bc most of the + - tests are blue dye tests. They are infamous for "maybe, possibly" BFP's that really are just problems with the tests. I had it happen to me a few months back. If you do a google search "blue dye pregnancy tests" you'll find a bunch of info on them.
I really hope that you have a real BFP though! Good luck!

I have also heard that people have problems with the blue dye tests...maybe try testing with a different brand? They might have one that measures a different level of hcg, which could give you a different result. I know alot of girls like the First Response ones, but if you are a poas-addict (like me!) that can get expensive fast. Try the dollar tree ones - you can go crazy and not spend a fortune!

I threw it in the garbage last night or else I'd take a picture. I'm going to wait until this weekend. If AF doesn't come then I'll test again. And that's good to know about the dollar tree tests....I had no idea that they would be reliable!
