Re: epidural vs. natural POLL
I wanted a epidural with my DS but they gave me pit so it speed up my labor and did not have a chance to get the epi. This time I will try to labor at home and no epi again.

I'm an epidural girl.
I need it to calm my anxiety of the whole ordeal. I will be the worst patient without it and the experience will be really bad for me. I totally need it and I know myself enough to be aware of that fact.

I would LIKE to go natural. That's my plan at the moment. Hopefully, I will be able to stick with it.

Re: epidural vs. natural POLL
EPIDURAL!! I have no desire to go Natural. From what I've learned in my Childbirth Class, epidurals are not harmful to me OR baby. And watching so many birthing videos (to prepare myself) women always seem to be in such intense & horrid pain UNTIL they get their epidural. So I'm thinking, I won't try to be a hero... I'll feel it out and if I think I need the drug, then I'll take it. No reason to suffer. Everybody's birth is different so I really can't say for sure until I'm actually experiencing it myself.

Re: epidural vs. natural POLL
Originally I was saying epidural 100%, but now I'm thinking about trying natural and see what happens. Although, I'm a big baby, so I may change my mind again!

Re: epidural vs. natural POLL
I don't think I will have a choice this time, I'm trying for a vbac, but with my first 2 pregnancies the plan was no epi.
Not because I think it's better not to have one, but for me, I preferred pain over feeling numb (it just freaks me out - I know it's strange, but I've passed out from novacaine at the dentist's)...
With DS I was able to do it, but with dd I needed an emergency C so I had to get it and I actually did not panic.
