Entertaining in small home?
I want to have people over for the holidays but our kitchen table only accommodates 4-6 people.....any advice for entertaining guests in a small informal setting?

Do buffet style! That's what I always do regardless of size! :)

What other space do you have? I assume from your post that you don't have a DR. Do you have a den?
We have a very tiny house also, but have a Living Room and den that can accommodate several people. I've accepted the fact that we'll never have a "formal" gathering, but if we set up a buffet on the kitchen table, everyone eats in the LR or den on their laps, or we have coffee tables and snack tables peppered around the room

Re: Entertaining in small home?
I agree with buffet style.. Invest in a good, sturdy folding table... It comes in handy on many occassions.. Whether you use it for guests to sit at or as a buffet... Guests will make room for themselves whether your house is big or small... I have a small condo with an open floor plan and always host superbowl with 20+ people... I most certainly dont have 20 chairs but people will make themseves comfy anywhere there's room... dont stress... I used to stress but it all works out somehow...
