Engagement party gift ideas
We were invited DH's friends engagement party but we cannot attend b/c it is the same day as our son's christening. I checked and they do not have a registry yet. What should I send them as an engagement gift?

I don't know what your budget is, but one of our fave engagment gifts was a gc for brunch at the garden city hotel.

That is a great idea but they live in Suffolk I think. It is a friend of DH's from work. I have never met them so I have no idea what they like or what they need.

being that you arent close to them i would do a gift card to bed bath and beyond (since thats where almost everyone registers).

I just had my eparty and I loved getting the frames and all.. but cash is the best for me or a check to be safe.
