Ended up in L & D at 33+ weeks
I actually ended up in Labor & Delivery yesterday afternoon. I was getting my routine non-stress test (I have GD) & my doctor informed me that I was having contractions 4 minutes apart! I wasn't even feeling "contractions" just pressure but that apparently were the contractions. It was so scary. I was released overnight. They pumped me with IV fluids & monitored me. He got them slow down and says it was most likely due to dehydration/stress. My cervix is soft but closed so that was good news. At least today, I feel nothing and drinking gallons of water.
It is just so scary because I am only 33 1/2 weeks. I didn't have any of this issues with my first PG.

Just rest up! Contractions due to dehydration are common! Glad you feel better today.

Re: Ended up in L & D at 33+ weeks
This happened to me as well and I never felt the contractions...actually, right around 32 weeks and 2 days or so...once I got the fluids, they subsided (I also had the shot to stop them) and now I am drinking about a gallon of water a day and on rest...take it easy and keep drinking!
